    Location Nine
    Seventeen feet from the corner of the Triangular Plant Bed closest to the road, along the outside edge of the Triangular Plant Bed. Ten feet directly away from the Triangular Plant Bed towards the trees.

    Along the line on the fountain which runs towards the tower, on the side of the fountain which is furthest away from the Tower. Half way down the line, on the edge of the line and right hand side area.

  3. Deforestation of Madagascar’s central highlands has resulted in widespread soil erosion, which in some areas may top 400 tons/ha per year. For Madagascar, a country that relies on agricultural production for the foundation of its economy, the loss of this soil is especially costly.


    these four images are the same location at different years, sourced from Google Earth. Soil deposits have clogged the rivers and forced the water into different routes.

  6. Berlin Spiral Jetty

    The exact shape, size and geographical orientation of Robert Smithson’s iconic Spiral Jetty piece was imposed over Berlin on Google Earth in on of the only areas of the city which could accommodate it.

    These drawings document the geographical coordinates along the path when walking along the shadow of the Spiral Jetty.

    Each drawing is an exact, to-scale copy of a single coordinate. but in being taken out of context is abstracted.
